Description Audio/MIDI interface (16 in, 8 out) Tascam US 16X08 Audio/Midi interface with 16 microphone inputs and 8 balanced line outputs, 2 of which have control on the front panel. The 16 microphone inputs have high quality and ensure clean and quiet operation with up to 56 dB gain. There are also 8 balanced line inputs, 2 at switchable level for guitars or basses. 8 balanced line outputs available, 2 of which feature a front panel level control for monitoring. Tascam US-16×08 is a DSP mixer for low latency digital mixing. Each channel has 4-band EQ and compressor for an optimal mix. In addition to interface mode, the US-16×08 can be used as a standalone microphone preamplifier. Windows and Mac drivers are bundled. USB 2.0 compliant data transfer for tablets such as Apple's iPad. MIDI input and output are present on the rear panel. Whether you use the ergonomic desktop or rack-mount stand (included), the US-16×08 has enough I/O for any recording situation.
